Operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to perform precise machining tasks according to provided instructions. Set up machines, adjust settings, and follow programming guidelines for operations such as boring, milling, drilling, threading, and occasional profiling. Check finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications. Requires knowledge of machining techniques, ability to interpret blueprints, and familiarity with CNC operating procedures.

Hours: Mon-Thurs – 5:00am-3:30pm

What you’ll do:

1. Prepare stock material for pattern tooling that will be machined on the CNC mill.

2. Hand-finish projects that come off the CNC mill, including patterns, core boxes, core masks, etc.

3. Operate the CNC mill loading new and production programs.

4. Identify and locate commonly used patterns.

5. Use and maintain tools, sanders, band saws, and drill press in a safe and efficient manner.

What you’ll bring:

1. High School degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

2. One year foundry, wood working, or pattern shop experience

3. Forklift certification

4. Communication and math skills

5. Hands-on skills

Compensation: $24.00-$34.09 per hour
