We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as Planner/Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of scheduling materials, manpower, and machines for a production operation. Duties include preparation of daily and weekly schedules for assigned product lines or departments and for coordination with the overall master schedule. Communicate regularly with purchasing and production staff to adjust schedules to accommodate changes in machine or material availability or staffing. Hours:Monday – Friday from 5:30am – 2:00pm
Compensation: $24.00 - $34.09 per hour
What you’ll do:
Given the resource capacities, create/reschedule replenishment and min-max jobs and internal purchase requisitions to supply/re-supply our on-hand inventory to meet our master production schedule.
Review all applicable part attributes and make appropriate changes that need adjustments to improve part planning.
Create executable schedules that meet request dates.
Communicate with Product Structure regarding any bill of material concerns.
Communicate with internal suppliers (other Planners, Purchasing department, etc.) regarding supply vs. demand issues.
Use the Replenishment Dashboard to maintain inventory levels.
Keep up with company work schedule expectations and the physical demands of the job.
What you’ll bring:
Team player mentality with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Good follow-through and attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Operating knowledge of Windows-based operating system as well as Oracle software.
Ability to multi-task
